DH [Downhill]: 8.25” Travel:Giant’s DH suspension design achieves what other suspension systems can only hope for. Most DH suspension systems today can handle big hits, however to achieve this many of them are forced to sacrifice pedaling efficiency and small-bump-sensitivity. Giant’s unique single pivot 4-bar linkage suspension is able to take the big hits with a progressive, plush 8.25” of travel, while remaining sensitive to small bumps such as braking ruts as you enter a corner. For 2004, both of our DH bikes feature Manitou’s SPV-equipped forks and 6-way adjustable rear shocks for improved pedaling efficiency and resistance to bottom-out. |
