Giant 3G Jointless Mainframe
Giant's 3G Jointless
Mainframe is now in its 8th year of development.
So, how is it done?:
Composite tubes are placed in molds.
High pressure heated air is forced through heat-resistant nylon bladders inside
the tubes.
This removes all voids and provides maximum compaction of the composite
Front triangle is formed in one smooth, integrated structure - no lugs or joints
Benefits:
Minimises weight + total assembly accuracy
Stiffer, stronger more durable frames
Smooth, organically shaped looks
Removes 6 joints from the frame
